A WPSL team in West Palm Beach has been established and we have successfully competed at the highest level in Women's soccer. Specifically our goals were to; attract highly talented players to our team, find sponsors that would be willing to support a three year program; effectively compete in the league and provide the soccer community with entertaining and quality events, provide the youth players in the area positive role models to interact with and watch, and finally to provide the most talented players from our local soccer programs, a team to continue their soccer careers.

Season Highlights from the 2007 Season:

1. We had over 50 player’s tryout for the women’s team.

2. We finished with a winning record.

3. We exceeded our gate revenue projections by 100%.

The level of play in the league was outstanding. Many former College and Amateur players participated as well as National team players from the US, Canada, Australia and several other countries. While the short season May, June and July made it difficult to establish a comprehensive training program the players did an outstanding job of working together. The next few years will be more productive now that a core group of players are planning to return.

Key Sponsors included Audio Advisors of West Palm Beach who has been invaluable in making the women’s team a success. In addition to Audio Advisors, Dan Hutchison of Ultimate Speed, Alfred Avila of Soccer Max, Keeler Shephard and Dale Sisson have all contributed significantly to make the program possible. We are all indebted to them and others for their generosity and help. Specifically the Peck family, Palm Beach Central HS, Joe Gangarossa, Beth Shephard, Jim Barnes, Tom Dawkins and many more parents of the PBU Youth Program have helped to make Dreams Come True.
