Weston, Florida - The Palm Beach United U14 girls worked really hard this past weekend to become the finalist at the Weston Invitational.  The first game of the tournament was against West Pines Extreme.  This was a battle that ended in a 0-0 tie between both teams.  The second game was against Naples and the girls won with a score of 3-0.  The next day the girls went into a great game with Braden River that ended once again in a 0-0 tie.  The final game was against the State Champions Weston Premier.  The PBU players worked really hard to work together for a win.  They had a fantastic game that ended in a 1-1 tie.  Our girls then had to face West Pines for penalty kicks to determine who was going to be the finalist.  PBU came out on top with PK's 4-3.  The girls had a great experience during the whole tournament.  The goalies, and defense only allowed 1 goal to be scored all weekend.  The team rallied to score back, and ended the game 1-1.  Keep working hard girls.  We are so proud of you.
